Acceptance

By creating an account or using ventedapp.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

The Service

Vented is an anonymous venting platform operated by Keintime. It allows registered users to post anonymous text content (“vents”), comment on vents, and interact with other users' content. The platform is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vented. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental permission. Certain categories are restricted to users aged 18 and over. We collect your date of birth to verify eligibility for age-restricted content. You cannot modify your date of birth after account creation.

Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We are not liable for unauthorised access to your account.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of harassment, impersonation, or circumventing a ban.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts used to evade enforcement may all be removed.

Your Content

You own the content you post. By posting it on Vented, you grant Keintime a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute it as part of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete your content or account.

You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not post content that is illegal, defamatory, or that violates someone else's rights. Keeping your vents anonymous protects both you and the people you're venting about.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Vented to:

• Post content that identifies, harasses, or threatens a specific private individual.
• Post hate speech, racial slurs, or content that incites violence against any group.
• Post terrorist, extremist, or illegal content of any kind.
• Post explicit sexual content or any content involving minors.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to post, like, or interact with content.
• Impersonate Vented, Keintime, or any other user.

Platform Immunity (Section 230)

Vented is an interactive computer service under 47 U.S.C. § 230. We are not the publisher or speaker of user-generated content and are not liable for content posted by users.

We actively moderate content that violates our guidelines and respond to valid legal requests.

Advertising

Vented may display advertisements from third-party networks including Google AdSense. Ads are only served to users who have accepted cookies. By accepting cookies you consent to the use of personalised advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookie preferences.

Disclaimers

Vented is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation beyond reasonable efforts, or that the platform will meet your specific needs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keintime is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vented.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your own account at any time from the account menu.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
